SKINS
I've been working
on the skins section for a while now, and I've uploaded some of
them...I'm putting up the new skins page, although a couple of the
skins aren't uploaded yet.

13/12/2001 MAPS
Guys, I'm DISABLING
the maps section of the site, and deleting all the maps from the
FTP because my host apparently decides near the end of the month
that I've used too much of their bandwidth with all the downloading,
and so they site gets disabled for a week or so. I'm Moving all
the maps to different server(s) so that may take upto a week coz
I've got a crap ass 56K connection.

TIME!
Hey everyone!
I'd given up on this site a long time ago, after all the problems
started. Just this morning I just checked up on the site, and I
found that it had about 15,000 more hits than the last time I checked
it!! So, I'm gonna start the site again, and gonna fix the bandwidth
problem, so the site doesn't get shut down near the end of the month!
I'm removing all the bots, except for the RealBot on the Bots Section,
and if you guys have any problems with that then email me. Oh yeah,
I'm also gonna most likely remove the screenshot thing, coz I don't
take that many good ones, so it's likely that one screenshot will
stay for months (example : look at the one above!!).
8/3/2001 Problems
Well, there
have been a bunch of problems over the last week or so...First,
the site got "removed" or something from Tripod. It just
wasn't there anymore. Well anyway, I've now got the site back online
on this server. There is a second problem, some of the damn maps
won't upload, so I'll have to remove them totally. Lastly, the skins
section got screwed up, so it's gonna be an eternity before I get
the time to fix it and put it up. SORRY!
28/1/2001 GENERAL
There haven't
been any updates for a long time coz I was having my xams, so now
that they're over, I'll try to update the stuff more often! I'm
woriking on re-doing another site I've made, so that may be another
setback, coz I've been meaning to do this for awhile. Anyways, I'll
put the URL in here once its complete!
OH yes...The
NNBOT site has reopened and Ditlew has referred to making a new
version of the NNBot, as well as developing a bot for Quake 3! So
check out the NNBot site!

more CS.net???
It's official
now that C|net is going to be dissolving its Gamecenter Alliance
with Stomped and CS.net,
among others.As of Febuary 1, 2001, the official Counter-Strike
site may be put out to dry, without a host. So, if anyone can help
them out (hosting, etc.), contact Cliffe!!

RB
Well, there
has been the release of the latest Real Bot - v1.0 a couple of days
back, so now I have added it to the site. Also, I'm working on the
skins section to put up a bunch of good weapon skins. That page
should be ready soon - I don't know how soon though! Well anyway,
start sending some of your own skins!! The email is at the bottom
of the page!

A new Links Section has been added to the site, so anyone interested

Finally we have a larger update for you!!! The Bobabot has been
updated and has reached v3.1, and the SWAT Bot has reached v3.0!
Both of them are now available in the Bots
Section.

Sorry for the
lack of updates, but there aren't any real big ones!! The screenshot
has been updated, though.

You must have
already noticed the change to the site, which is the navigation
bar on the left has been altered! Keep coming back for more updates
to CSWR!!

Logo!
Well, as you
all can see, CSWR has a new logo!! The old one seemed kinda empty
and it lacked a certain something. Well, we also have a new screenshot
up now, and as the weeks go on, there will probably be a screenshot
archive within the site containing all screenshots that have appeared
in the Screenshot of The Week.
23/11/2000 Site
Addition
As you can all
see, a new section has been added to the site, and that is the Screenshot
of the Week! When there is more time available, I might make it
the Screenshot of the Day.
22/11/2000 Updates
Sorry for the
lack of updates everyone!! Well, now that there is one, it is HUGE!!
There is the newest version of the Real Bot, FTR
2.1. There is also a huge addition to the MAPS
SECTION, where about 15 new maps have been put up!
19/11/2000 SWAT
Bot 1.5
The SWAT Bot
1.5 has been released and been added to the Bots Section. Now most
of the bots on the site are compatible with CSv1.0!!
A small FAQ Section has
been put up so make sure you check there. Submit any questions/problems
you may have with CS and it will be posted in a few days.

Bot 2.2
Yet again, the
Bots Section has been updated,
now with the Android Bot Alpha 2.2, which is compatible with CS
1.0....If you still have CS beta 7.1, and don't plan on downloading
CS 1.0 very soon, download
Android Bot Alpha 2.1, since it is compatible with CS beta 7.0
and 7.1.

BOTS!!
The NNBot has
been updated for the third time in 2 days and has now reached v1.02!
The Swatbot v1.0 has also been released and is now available in
the Bots Section.....There's
a whole lot of updating going on today on this site!!!
16/11/2000 Maps
and CS 1.0
10-12 new maps
have been added to the Maps Section.
Here's the list
of changes in Counter-Strike 1.0 since CS beta 7.1:
- added three
new weapons: (H&K UMP .45, FN Five-Seven, & SIG SG-550)
- redone player models
- incorporated Valve's model blending technology
- left beta stages
We might be
hosting a download of the CS beta 7.1 to CS v1.0 update pretty soon,
so keep checking back!

The Weapons
Section has been updated and now has the CS v1.0 weapons. The
new default Player Models have been added to the Player
Models Section.

site! The
